I take all the hard work and nerves out of it, and you get to just relax and be looked after,  guided towards the most beautiful works of art imaginable!  Your beautiful impending motherhood. Your beautiful new baby, and your gorgeous connection. Beautiful you right now at this time in your life. Or perhaps you’re creating a business or venture. Trust me, my knowledge of relaxed posing and how to engage with the camera, plus gentle directing, and loads of creativity, all combine to make you feel comfortable, excited and happy about being photographed. Even if you've never had professional images taken before.  So many of my portrait clients express their surprise about just how much they loved the whole experience.  And nothing could make me happier.

From the minute you are greeted at my door with a warm smile, take a deep slow breath as you look out at the water and the gardens, settle in with a cuppa, it’s all about you. I have a wonderful hair and makeup artist that will come to the studio, there are plenty of places indoors and outdoors in view of the studio room for you or your partner to relax and take a little time for yourselves. Your partner, mum, or friend can even take a 2 minute walk to the end of my street to a fabulous cafe and bring you both back lunch if you like.

We understand being in front of a camera lens can be a bit intimidating. We also know how to capture you in your best light. Once my mums-to-be see a glimpse of that first shot on the back of my camera, they relax without fail, confident that these photos will truly honour their pregnancy. You will have the most beautiful photographs to document this incredible time and transport you back each time you and your growing family look at them. I so wish I had professional photographs from my own pregnancies with my daughter and son. If you’re sitting on the fence about having maternity photographs taken, take the advice of every one of my maternity clients… So many of my mums-to-be initially ummed and ahhhed about having pregnancy photos taken, and are now beyond happy that they have beautiful photographs from this time in theirs and their baby’s lives. And the maternity and newborn session combo really makes it like coming back to a friend’s place when you bring your newborn back to the studio for their session.
